Daytona Rising Project Prepares for 500

The ongoing refurbishment of Daytona International Speedway, dubbed 'Daytona Rising' has reached a key project milestone. Between the 2015 Rolex 24 and the start of the famous Speed Weeks the track has opened up some of its new facilities. This includes 40,000 new seats, two new entrances, a range of new concessions, some new buildings and new lifts.

Meanwhile as work is ongoing temporary trailers have been installed for ushers and staff to use while a number of temporary kitchens. Temporary lighting has also been installed.
